Dr. Tung Bui would tell you, “I enjoy taking care of people. I’m challenged and energized by complex situations. I think that helps me feel comfortable especially when I treat patients who struggle with dental anxiety. I take care of their tooth. I take care of them. They are better and I am thankful.”

About Dr. Bui

Dr. Tung Bui grew up helping his mother in her dental office. Consequently he knew as a young man that dentistry was the path he wanted to take. These early-in-life experiences were the perfect start for his life’s work.

He became interested in endodontics not only to help people get out of pain, but also to help them save and keep their natural teeth for life.

In dental school, conversations with residents, whom he found to be both fun and smart, deepened his interest, and as result fanned his interest into genuine passion. Eventually he resolved to pursue a career in Endodontics.

A native of Toronto Canada, Dr. Bui and his wife, Ai Leen, moved to the desert southwest in 2007 to join the team at Southern Arizona Endodontics.  Subsequently, the Bui family welcomed a new member of their family; their son David in 2014.

Dr. Bui Away from the Office

Away from the office, Dr. Bui, may be found snowboarding, diving, hiking, fishing, and documenting it all with his drone and GoPro camera.

Dr. Bui rides for the “Tucson Ride 4 the Cure” cycling team and participates in the El Tour de Tucson annually.

In addition, he also finds time to be active in organized dentistry, holding various leadership positions in dental organizations.

A multi-talented multi-tasker, Dr. Tung Bui brings a delightful dimension to this team of Endodontists who together have forged a nation-wide reputation for excellence.
