Dr. Dave Burros says, “I talk my patients through their procedure with a little humor here and there. I give them a running commentary as I go along.”
David G. Burros
Retired DDS
Endodontist
Dr. Dave Burros never dreamed his career could be so much fun. After many years and thousands of root canals, he still can’t wait to tell you how much he loves his job. That’s especially so when he gets to work on “unusual” or “difficult” cases.
In 2005, Dr. Burros had a once-in-a-lifetime experience. He performed a root canal on a polar bear at Reid Park Zoo! What a thrill to complete the task before the anesthesia wore off!
Away from the office, he devotes himself to his family and church. He and his wife, Suzy have two adult children.
In addition, Dr. Dave Burros loves to do mission work in foreign countries. To date, he has worked in over 11 countries, including China, Ethiopia, Swaziland, India, and Bolivia.
